Our Alaskan Wedding and Honeymoon

Dan and I were married in Juneau, Alaska on August 2, 2010. We took a seven day cruise and had a fantastic time.

Sailing through the Tracy Arm Fjord. So beautiful!

The crew decorated the front door of our room.

Our room. Cozy!

What port were we in? Tracy's Crab Shack. The best and biggest crab legs imaginable! Yummm!

The sled dogs took us on a ride through the camp on an ATV vehicle. They were champs!

One of the many sled dogs awaiting their turn to pull the ATV. The dogs love their work.

Amazing views from our balcony on the ship.

Fishing for pinkies in Ketchikan

We had a great time and brought fish home.

Juneau, Alaska
Everyone in Juneau was so kind and thoughtful. We had the owner of the taxi company drive us everywhere we needed to be. The owners of Pearson's Pond Resort Inn were incredible in making our special day happen with out a flaw. Thank you to everyone who made our day so wonderful!

Craner Maine Vacation 2009

*Click on any image for a larger picture*

I finally was able to share my favorite place in the world with Dan and the crew. Moody Beach Maine. All expectations were exceded. We stayed at my parents' cottage on the beach, the Dorothy Adelaide, and rented a 15 passenger van to tour New England.
We visited the New England Aquarium, Quincy Market Place, Salem, Massachussetts and the scary places there, Canobie Lake Park in Salem, MA and a ton of places in Maine. A few of the places we went to were Nubble Light House, Portland Head Light House, Flo's hot dog stand ( YUM!), Kennebunkport where George Bush Senior has a home, Route One outlet stores ( Alicia and Parker bought clothing for Nellie:), and so much more!
Moody Beach was fantastic. Ashlee and Matt were up every morning to watch the sun rise with Dan and I. They were astonished at the beauty of the beach and the ocean. Between Ashlee, Alicia, Whitney, and I we must have taken close to 3,000 pictures! Max is giving report on his Maine vacation at school tomorrow. I wish I could be there!
On Friday, October 23rd, Dan proposed to me at sunrise on Moody Beach. It was absolutley perfect and so beautiful! The crew was looking on from the windows of the cottage and took pictures:) Thanks everyone for the great pictures!

Staind and Aaron Lewis

Dan and I saw Staind and Creed last Friday night at the E-Center. We expected a lot from Creed and were really disappointed. We walked out after the second song. It could be that Aaron Lewis and Staind were so fantastic that nothing could compare to their performance. They had an awesome light show. Here are a few videos from the concert. Aaron is sporting a few new tattoos. I like the one around his neck which says "Don't tread on me."

Moody Beach Maine Monday Morning

Its my last day here in Maine. The time goes by too quickly. I got myself out of bed at 5:30 this morning to walk the beach. Every morning is a different show case from nature. All are wonderful gifts. There is the sun rise group here consisting of a small group of regulars who get up to watch the sun rise above the horizon. We simply nod to one another in acknowledgment and smile. For some of us it is an old tradition to greet the new day. For others it is a first time experience that they will never forget.
