Ahhhhh....Maine!

I was up at 4:30 A.M. making coffee and eagerly ready to go this morning with my camera. It is so good to be back here!

So early the moon is still out....

Starfish were abundant! The water was just the right temperature for them.

Only 60 plus days until the Traynor / Craner Maine trip! It can not come quick enough.

New England August 09

I am back in New England spending time with my family. It is so good to see every one. I wish we lived closer so I could see them every day. My nephews have grown by leaps and bounds. Cameron and Kevin are eating like there is no tomorrow. What a change!

Here we are getting settled in to watch Harry Potter number four

It was hot and humid yesterday, we broke out the swimming pool and sprinkler and had a fantastic time getting soaked.

Cameron has started to excercise every day to get ready for the Fall sports season. Go Cam!

Kevin has joined in. He can not quite reach the pedals on the bike, but he has taken to the treadmill.

My sweet and loving Dad. Such long legs!

Flaming Gorge Camping Trip 09

We had our annual Flaming Gorge trip this past July fourth. Everyone missed Parker and Alicia this year. The mornings were sunny and warm and come afternoon there were thunderstorms and rain into the night. We had a fantastic time despite this and have lots of great memories! This was little Marley's first trip to the Gorge.

Here is Jack entertaining all of us!

A night around the campfire playing a game....

Thank you everyone for a fantastic time!

Maine and the Craner Cabin

I was going through my video recorder today and found these videos on the recorder. The Craner Traynor family is headed to Maine in October! Here is a sneak peek of Moody Beach in the early morning. There should not be as many rocks on the beach. The beach is always changing with the seasons. This is part of what makes it so special.

The next video is a snap shot from one of the weekends Dan and I spent at the Cabin last year....

The moose are so wonderful!

Memorial Day Weekend 2009

It was a very busy week at the Craners and Traynors homestead. Ashlee organized a yard sale for Saturday to help raise funds for the family trip to Maine in October. She and Matt came over Wednesday night to help clear out Dans' garage for sale items. WOW! Talk about dust and memories...whew! We did pull a lot of things together between all the households. Grandma Pat and Grandpa Jim donated a ton of items as well from their home. Alicia and Parker had donated items as well. We had a lot of fun at the yard sale and did quite well. Thank you everyone for your help!
Dan had a dumpster delivered to his house on Friday. We did a massive yard and house clean up with everyone's assistance. Its been really nice having everyone pull together for Dan to update his house inside and out. We have had a lot of help with painting the inside and tidying things up.

New England 2009

I arrived home Tuesday from my two week trip seeing my family back east. It was a really nice break for me. The best part of my arrival home was having Max and Dan waiting for me at the airport! Ace and Smokee were beside themselves when they saw me. It was so good to see Ashlee, Matt, and Jack and spend an evening with them. Dan made Manhattan Clam Chowder that was out of this world! Thank you Mom and Dad and everyone else for a fantastic trip. I love you!
